What leads to success

What leads to success it all started in one day on the plane, In a chair next to me was a high school student, a young man from a very poor family. And he wanted to do something with his life, and he asked me a little simple question. He said, "What leads to success?" And I felt very bad because I could not give him a good answer. So I got off the plane. And I think, jeez, I'm in the middle of a room of successful people! So why not ask them what helped them to succeed, and then pass it on to the children? So here we are, watching 500 interviews later, and I’ll tell you what leads to success and what makes serve.  Freeman Thomas says, "I am driven by my love." The perpetrators did it out of love; they don't make you money.  Carol Coletta says, "I can pay someone to do what I do." And the interesting thing is: if you do it for love, money comes anyway.  Rupert Murdoch said, "It's all hard work. Nothing comes easy. But I have a lot of fun ...

Determination and Commitment towards your purpose

Determination and Commitment towards your purpose You should find your passion. That’s the only way to build determination over time. Determination is not something that comes overnight. When you decide what you want to give your life for, it takes time to figure out how to get there. You need to focus on the real purpose in life. Whenever you meet someone who is willing, you always have a strong love for the purpose of his or her life. The most common problem that people have with a commitment to construction is a complex, far-reaching goal. Most people want to do more than just time. They say they want to get better, build a business, get the essentials of some of their dreams, learn some skills. But there is no time! You cannot do all these things, not at once. You have to stick to one thing. Something you really like. You can't afford to be distracted. Whenever you miss part of your process or fail to work towards your goals. He falls backward. Ice balls. How to improve financially

How to improve financially If there is one thing we are all normal maybe a lack of money. No matter how much you make, you always feel like you want to do more. Every time you reach a certain level, somehow your costs increase and you feel like you are not doing enough. There are many reasons why some of us struggle financially while others do not but one of them is actually how we spend our money. In fact, most people have some spending spaces that end up poor even if they earn 6 cents. And to be honest, I've had some of these things in the past and when I finished them, financially my health improved a lot, I was able to manage my money better and save a lot of money. One of the main reasons why so many people suffer is actually the use of big money to gain the favor of others. They always need confirmation. Their self-esteem is directly affected by what people think of them. If you depend too much on other people, you end up buying things you don't need to please people wh...

VAK model - Learning styles 1

VAK model - Learning styles Have you ever wondered why you're able to pick up certain skills or concepts more quickly or easily compared to others? Have you ever been jealous that your friend is able to learn languages faster than you no matter what you seem to try? This is because everyone has a natural inclination towards certain skills, and they gravitate towards activities and professions that complement those skills. This can also be attributed to one's unique learning style where abilities that work well with a certain learning style might be grasped and retained faster compared to others. Today we will briefly look at a common model for grouping these different styles together called the VARK model.  VAK model where the learning styles or modalities are broken down into visual, auditory, and kinesthetic, as well as the representational systems in neuro-linguistic programming, Fleming refined the definition of a visual learner to include an additional group; the read/ ...

Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic - Learning style 2

Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic   Learning style Visual learner Someone with this learning style performs best when given visual media to understand a concept. While this does not include still images or photographs, these may include maps, diagrams, graphs, charts, and through the use of symbols. For symbols, let’s take a closer look at our map. Right now it looks a little empty, but by adding symbols, shapes, and arrows, we can create reference points for our students to more clearly visualize where they are and where they need to go in order to get to the post office.  Auditory learner This type of learner does their best when learning from spoken sources such as lectures and group discussion, as well as digital audio sources such as radio or podcasts. Certain written media such as webchat and email could be grouped here as well since it is more commonly written in a non-formal way that is similar to speaking. Another way an auditory learner can learn more suc...

CAREER DECISION MAKING

CAREER DECISION MAKING Career decisions need to be made throughout the lifespan because a career has a major bearing on individuals’ lifestyles. It determines earnings, job security, friends, and acquaintances, the amount of leisure time and residence.  Career-related behaviors explicitly or implicitly involve a career decision: to pursue a particular job, to increase or decrease involvement in work, or to change occupational fields. Although each situation is different, they all involve action in the face of alternatives. Career indecision is especially challenging for youth in the school-to-work-transition as youth generally have not had enough work experience to develop their career  identity.  The young adult’s self-concept undergoes turbulent times as they are faced with multiple demands to perform and become an independent citizen.  Young adults should get into the mindset of becoming proactive with their career decisions. Greenhaus (2003) points out that due t...

Career Action Plan

Career Action Plan Developing a career action plan is the fourth step in the career planning process. You should write one after doing a thorough self-assessment, a complete exploration of viable career options, and determining which one is the best match. Next comes the action plan. A career action plan is like a road map that will get you from point A—choosing an occupation—to Point B—becoming employed in that career. It even helps you get past Point B, to Points C through Z, as your career advances. 1.Background Information Create a worksheet you can use to outline your career action plan. It should contain the four sections below. 2. Employment History/Education and Training Title the first section of your worksheet "Employment History/Education and Training." This part is straightforward. List any jobs you've had in reverse chronological order, from most recent to least recent. Include the location of the company, your job title, and the dates you worked at that jo...

Innovation is worth needed to discover and develop

Innovation is worth needed to discover and develop When you find yourself blocked at every turn, a very effective way of moving ahead is to innovate. When the things that have worked before no longer seem to work, there’s likely something else, something new and different, that will. Innovation has increased the standard of living so dramatically for so many people that it’s difficult for most of us to even imagine life without it. Whatever the challenge may be, innovation can be one of the most effective ways to deal with it. " Innovation comes from an attitude of knowing that there must be a better way. Innovation comes when you’re open to change." Many new ideas and innovations probably won’t work. Yet that one innovation that will work is worth the effort needed to discover and develop it because it can dramatically change things. If you keep getting stuck doing what you’ve always done, perhaps it’s time to innovate. Know that a new and better way is there, make the commi...

Success is nothing more than failure

Success is nothing more than failure Success is nothing more than failure which has persisted long enough to achieve excellence. If you don’t get it right the first time, by all means keep ongoing. What more powerful confidence could there be, than the confidence which is born out of persisting in spite of failure? The fear of failure keeps most people out of the game. Yet once you’ve experienced failure, and picked yourself back up again, what’s left to fear? Fear of failure is only for the weak and arrogant, for those who foolishly think that somehow they can achieve success without paying the price. Those who know true success also know that failure is not to be feared. No thinking person would intentionally set out to fail. We must give our best effort, and highest expectations, to each attempt. And if we fall short of the mark it is no disgrace. It is in fact another rung we’ve climbed on the ladder to eventual success. Out of failure comes the confidence and the determination to ...
